The communities of Booneville and Magazine understand that our future is built on the youth of today. How we encourage, work with and play with our youth will determine what type of tommorrow we have.
In our communities, you will find a strong connection between organizations, business, the community and our public education system. The instructors, school administrators, school boards and the entire community strive constantly to maintain the highest standards of education for our youth.
We believe that effective education involves more than just public education - we believe that it involves the full resources of our communities. We are committed to that level of involvement.
Booneville Publis Schools have a history of high educational standards that stretch back almost 100 years. Booneville graduates have gone on to become Physicians, Lawyers, Teachers, Scientists, Entrepreneurs and Military Officers, including one that became the U.S. Air Force Chief of Staff as a 4-Star General.
Our fair city is nestled in the beautiful hills of western Arkansas. Our district has approximately 1360 students in grades Pre-K through 12. That is large enough to offer many of the opportunities of a larger school, but not so large that students feel they are just a number.
We have recently had National Merit Semi-Finalists and the Senior Class of 2013 earned more scholarship money than any Booneville class ever. We have earned State Championships in football, baseball, softball, weightlifting and have earned places in state and national competitions in Quiz Bowl, band, writing, speaking, business, FFA and others.
